    Hi Guys,

I recently bought a 2004 Gated Spider, and have been meaning to introduce myself here.

Anyway, I appear to have a leaking roll-over valve. To gain access, the Entire Top "Cassette" must come off. I have scoured Fchat and the internet and come up nearly empty.

I've seen the posts where people CUT through their plastic to access these valves.

I've also see the photos where Luigi removed a top (pic below), but there isn't much in the way of How he did it.

    Anyone know of a step-by-step??

    Robert

I have never done this but it was done to my car. The top is attached to the roll bar so you have to pull that to get the top out. I would start looking for that in the manuals.

Here it is "360 spider top removal DIY/rollover valves " google it. Easy to remove, just take care where you pick up the cassette. Rent an engine hoist with enough reach to pick it up straight. You only need to raise it a foot or so. Do all the valves at once. The above pictures gives you a good idea of the pick up points to cause no damage. Don't cut any holes, do it the right way.
