    Hi All,

I have a 2013 nicely loaded FF with about 41500km on it. The major difference between my car and the ones for sale is the factory extended 2 year warranty that goes all the way till February 2018 and service till 2020. Apparently this is gold when you are trying to move these car?. I actually want to sell it and buy another FF but that is another topic all together.

What should I list it at and be competitive ($249k?)? When should I list it? Do I include the Ferrari winter tire package? Finally, do you guys recommend listing it privately, I have a feeling it might actually sell faster.

    Thanks in advance.

41500km :) Canadian market is pretty strong only because the CA dollar has collapsed and we just don't get enough cars up here. So if I convert $150k to CA dollars and add 1.06 duties and shipping I am arriving at $215k Canadian, add $10k for the extended warranty remaining, $5k for the winter package, and $10k for being Canadian I am at $240k? Hehe..

And importing a car to Canada apparently has a $20k uplift for warranty transfer.

IMHO, I think $249k Canadian would be a decent list price, given the number of kms on it. Selling a F car fast, privately, is not that easy due to the high price point that these cars demand. All depends on whether the car is a "specimen" car and how aggressive you are with pricing. Have your Ferrari dealer assess it based on a consignment deal and ask them for a semi-realistic valuation... not sure that a buyer will pay you $10k extra for the extended warranty of two years....

As for USA buyers purchasing it, the US market is more competitive and in general, US buyers tend to stay with US market cars so there may be a slight discount....

    Cheers

I think it's tough to sell at 250. Dealers are running at 300 (still can bargain) for 2014 below 10k kms.
I won't sell any car myself. There would be many "strangers" coming to see you.

I think it'll sell at 250. These things seems to go quick in Calgary. I'd consign it personally. What's trade offer from FoO?

Find out what the dealer will give you on trade. Take that number and add 20k. That's about market. Advertise for 5k less she will sell.

Curious what the outcome was from this. Did you ask your dealer the trade in value? Did you list it?

I agree with Tom except add $50,000 if we're talking about F.O.O here. I've seen it with my own eyes. A member here was trading in his 2000 kms stradale and they were giving him $150,000 trade at the time and I had it sold to four different people all offering around $215,000 for it!
