is a process that takes top 30 min , and difficulty is 2 out of 10 , u may have to lower your back for a minute.
it may be better products out there but this method always works for me. just be aware that some chemicals out there may stain , so don`t try new things on your own car.
what you need is a metal polish paste , a metal sealant/wax , 1 microfiber towel and 1 terry towel. i have dedicated towels for wheels and exhaust.
after u wash the exhaust tips and dry them put a dime size of metal polish paste on terry towel and spread it ( 3 inx3in is ok) , rub gently the exhaust tips until the grime is remove , same on interior of the exhaust. wipe clean and apply metal sealant with a microfiber towel. now you should have protection for good months and next time when u clean them should be easier.

    Products i use :

Here's mine, check it out. I use a Dremel with a small buffing element and then a drill with a larger buffing wheel. Mother's Mag & Aluminum polish works well. I use jeweler's rouge as a final step.

Looks great... but that's a lot of work for something that gets dirty the next time you start the car. I use a rag with some Simple Green. While my tips will never look as pristine as yours, they're good enough and it's easy enough to do all the time.

Nah, after the first REAL cleaning, mine stay pretty nice for 3 months or so just using soap and water and a little scrubbing when I wash the car.

The previous owner must have never cleaned them, so that's what they looked like at first. I put a lot of elbow grease in the first time and then hit them again with some polish every few months. Easy breezy. Last week I did the Dremel/Drill thing since it had been a year since I last did it.
