    Any suggestions?

It's not from a Ferrari, but Mercedes. I used to use laundry soap - get it wet, and let it sit for 20 - 30 minutes. Rinse away, and good bye spot. Mobil-1 is much more stubborn.

    Thank for any help.

Dawn dishwashing liquid or Simple Green?

If all else fails, Acetone or MEK.....

TSP (Trisoduim phosphate powder) then let it sit partially wet ( like a paste) for a bit then scrub and rinse with hose .

If none of these answers work, just treat the rest of the driveway with Mobil 1. ;):D

Even better....... overlay it with asphalt :)

Seriously, let us know what happens, but in my experience, there is no way to completely remove an oil stain (synthetic or natural) from raw concrete ---- concrete is just too damn porous.

    Good luck.

I use a cleaner / degreaser called "Purple Power" to remove stains from concrete, and it works fine.

solvents and detergents will take care of the oil, what won't come out easily is the carbon residue that leaves a black stain, carbon must physically be removed by something like a pressure washer or wear away over time...

    Again,
dinosaur oil cleans up with detergent and some effort. but really hard to get a solvent that "Cuts" Mobil=1 and other synthetics. The Ferrari leaked some Agip before, and that was absolutely part of the concrete.

BTW - 10 out of 10 for creativity on coating the whole driveway - Still laughing! :)

I'll try the Dawn and TSP. I know regular powder laundry soap and and dish soap doesn't do it.

    Thanks all!

Hi Dont know where you are based but here in the UK we have stuff called 'Gunk' which is designed to get oil stains off driveways, dont know if you can get it where you are though or if you could maybe get it online?
    Hope this helps

You can also try a water diluted muriatic acid solution. It is used by concrete pros to etch concrete and to prepare it for coloring or decorative treatment.you can by it by the gallon at most construction supply stores that deal with concrete products. Be careful when handling it use gloves. I use it on my paver driveway when my Mercedes drips. Wire brush helps too. It will lighten up the area a bit at first but then it should darken up with exposure and traffic. Test a small obscure area first.

Use a citrus degreaser (get at your local bike (as in bicycle) shop) or Simple Green & a scrub brush. Had a big mess of antifreeze & gear oil, it works. You will never get rid of the stain completely.

Biological laundry detergent in powder form. Sprinkle it about one inch deep and leave it. If it isn't England where it rains every day, just wet it a little each day until it eventually washes away.
