I'm actively looking for one. It seems that 19 of every 20 red cars are Corsa. Anyone selling or have a lead on one?
The Rosso Scuderia paint came along with the 2004 Challenge Stradale and cars with that paint commanded a price premium. Rosso Scuderia and the stripe were the ultimate Stradale combination dollar wise. Add leather for the interior and the car was triple rare. The Scuderia buyers also chose that Rosso Scuderia paint but it became less popular on the Italia. Unfortunately I don't recall seeing very many of the Italia models painted that color. About 35 percent of Ferrari models are painted Rosso Corsa so finding Rosso Scuderia will be tough on the Italia. Good Luck with your search!

Great info, and thanks for the lead. That car was pretty modified and returned to stock. Do you have an opinion on the price?
Yes, it looks awesome in person. Definitely red (check Rosso Dino for an actual Ferrari orange). Had RS on a Scud; the color just hits the spot.
Here's the listing of2worlds mentioned above: http://westcoastexoticcars.com/listings/2012-ferrari-458-italia-coupe-with-race-seats/
There seem to be many choices on sale in the US market if you are not restricted by color choice. So it is mostly a buyer's market. Price is always subjective depending on condition, color and to a lesser extent options. The big items seem to be shields, shift lights on the steering wheel and the race seats. Unmodified cars are a preference to and geographic location can be a challenge if the car is sitting on the other side of the country. The huge selection of American cars seem like a bargain compared to prices and availability here in Canada!
Had RS on my 458, have it now on my Speciale. Great color on both IMO! Interesting tid bit: when I took delivery of my Speciale I noted that it looked more "red" than my '12 458. So I checked the paint code on both and sure enough the codes were different. Apparently PPG changed the RS formula sometime between '12 and '15 so RS has less orange in it. Either way RS "pops" next to red corsa which is darker. Cool to have a rare great color at no extra cost........ Best!
Sign up with autotrader and register a search, entering "Rosso Scuderia" in the keyword option.....you will get an email for every car listed that meets your criteria.....and you will get the jump on other buyers.
Very interesting details regarding the RS formula being changed. Not sure many people were aware of that detail. Some people complained about Rosso Corsa also being changed from a previous formula and not for the better either. If I recall correctly Rosso Corsa changed after 2006 model year cars. You need a score card to figure out all these paint numbers for different paint formula choices. The factory paint sticker is certainly an accessible and effective way to keep up with Ferrari paint color changes!
I used to have a couple of early Porsches in a very similar color but Porsche called it Tangerine at the time and was definitely more orange than the current RS shade. The current RS color looks more like Porsche color Guards Red. IMO The Autotrader registered search works really well, it is how I got my 612 after just missing 3 others by hours of a day or two.
Yes, saw that a few weeks ago. Wasn’t in the market at the time. Essentially a new car. Congrats to whoever finally pulled the trigger.
