    My son who is 6 years old just got declared the parochial OREO stacking champion. Besting 415 schools and every other 6th grader on the planet (sort off) :). This was a totally unrehearsed event. I didn't know this until I flipped open the local paper, and saw his face in an article... I talked to him about it, and he nonchalantly said "Yeah, thats me dad. Beat my brother too..."

    Just for the record, the average 2nd grader can stack 16 OREO's before the stack falls. My boy did 28 :).

    Yeah, I know its corny. Its the small cool stuff that makes being a parent rewarding.

    Any other stories?

    Tell your son he RULES. I might be coordinated and patient, but, don't think I could stack 2 Oreos, 'cause I'd eat 'em...

    I tried this about a month ago, apropos of nothing. I got 18. But alas . . . I am no match for your young junior. good for him. accomplishments are good things, no matter what they are, really.

    I have an old bag of oreos I need to throw out. Maybe I should try this before I do just to see if I can measure up to a second grader.

    oh great now i want to go get a bag of oreos, file down the flat sides a bit to assure even fitment, and stack them to the ceiling. ;)

    They are without doubt the best store bought cookie. The BEST cookie in the universe though, is a home made chocolate chip right out of the oven. Me mouth is waterin' as I think of them.
