Dear John, It would be a deal except if they don't have a five speed crash transmission, multi-plate competition clutch and drum brakes I would not know how to drive them. Beside, they both probably have mufflers, heaters, windshield wipers, turn signals, gas gauges and more than one door... Best regards, Robert

Dear Ron, Thank you. We Blue Ferrari guys have to stick together. Do you still have the photo of both the 550 and the 500 at Williamsburg? By the way, in the first photo above, my oldest grandson and I are driving on Interstate 25 and the mountains ahead of us are suddenly covered in storm clouds. In another couple of minutes it is hailing and raining hard, so I pulled off at the first exit and parked under the overpass. My grandson's first words were "Granddad, is my face bleeding?" Sitting in the "bug" seat with no windscreen at 70 mph I strongly suspect that hail and rain feel like they could be breaking the skin, fortunately that was not the case. Best regards, Robert
Here is that picture of my 550 and your 500. Always great memories - both for the cars and the fun people that drive them. And a few extra more pictures from the "Ferraris on the Vine" event. . Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
Dear Ron, The mention of the "Ferraris on the Vine" event reminded me that as you know, under the edges of the seats in my car the framework is actually grape canes. Simple logic as they are easily formed to whatever contour you want and the once the aluminum is shaped, the upholstery tacks are anchored in the cane. See attached.https://www.dropbox.com/s/bevn7ub4bkrjbf7/vines%20copy.jpg?dl=0 So for the "Ferraris on the Vine" event I brought Vines in a Ferrari. Best regards, Robert
Dear Ron, Yep, parked the VITF near a FAKE at the FOTV. Seriously we need better acronyms which at least are pronounceable... Best regards, Robert
