:) Thanks, there haven't been too many cars I've come across that wanted to make me get my picture taken next to them but a McLaren F1 definitely qualifies!

That must of been fun! Hate to go off topic, but do you still have the Argo? I use to really like seeing it at PPIR. Oh and nice picture Derek!

    Way to live, man!

If you don't mind, I would LOVE to see your GTO at the Arapahoe or Automezzi concours again. I'll be there, in my humble GTB. ;)

No, it went to Costa Rica, the Mclaren owner was here in Colorado visiting me and decided he wanted to buy it.

What a totally uninformed statement. Colorado has more than its fair share of exotics, the owners just choose not to seek you out when they leave the garage.

You're right - we never see cool cars in Colorado. That's why the Denver spotters' thread is 68 pages long. That's why we've got multiple Enzos, F40s, and 288 GTOs. That's why I personally have seen 29 Aston-Martins, an Audi R8, nine Bentley Arnages, ten BMW Z8s, 27 Dodge Vipers, 71 different Ferraris (of 18 different models), four Ford GTs, fifteen Lamborghinis, six non-Elise Lotuses, two Maybachs, two Mercedes SLRs, a Panoz Esperante, three Porsche Carrera GTs, a Rolls-Royce Phantom, and a Bugatti Veyron in the state within the last two years.

You're right. No cool cars here.

Anyone in Colorado who never or rarely notices the exotics we have here should attend either the Cerebral Palsy Concours at Arapahoe Community College, or the Automezzi show of Italian cars. They are generally held in June on consecutive weekends.

These are my two favorite show, but there are others. I know I'll be there!

Perhaps you are not looking in the right places?

    I have seen in CS:
    Ferrari - Several
    Lambo - Several
    Bentley - Several
    Aston - Couple
    Benz - SLR
    P-Car - Carrera GT & GT3RS
    Audi R8
    Ford GT - Several
    Vipers - Several
    Lotus - Several

And I do not even go looking for cars.

I have lived here most of my life I don't think theres any other places I can look.

Colorado Springs isn't exactly a hotspot for cars anyways we get alot of Muscle cars and Ricers but thats it.

CS does have some exotics, but they are elusive. Very few Ferraris though.

Last summer I saw a black Enzo twice in a one week near the intersection of Belleview and DTC Boulevard. Didn't see the license plate on it though.

I have seen a silver Mercedes SLR McLaren in Cherry creek and I also know that there a Red F430 off of Belleview and Dayton in the heart of DTC. Lots of Gallardo's in the LoneTree area (see them early in the AM on my way to the office near Park Meadows mall in the spring/summer time).
