How many Enzo's, F50's, F40's reside in Colorado & Utah?

He probably collects them.

 

Surprisingly, collectors do sometimes drive their vehicles!

 

Every collector that Iv'e ever meet basicly buys them and puts them in a garage and they never see the road after that. I see no point on that id rather do that with little 1:18's than with real cars even if they get great value if I own such a car selection all of them will be drivin at some point.

 

You may wish to start at www.coloradogrand.org . View the photos of past events. Those cars are mostly owned by "collectors". Don't you agree they are being driven?

Or just check some of the members here... RufMD has an F40, a 512BB, a Lotus Esprit, an Aston-Martin Lagonda, and a Porsche Carrera GT and drives them consistently... DM18 has an F40 and a 288 GTO amongst many others, and drives them... we all know about Napolis's collection - and his passion for using them on a frequent basis... of course, 410SA has a classic 410 Superamerica, a 365 GTS/4, an F50, and F40, a fiberglass 308 - and drives them all frequently. I could go on...

Collectors drive their cars too!!!

I think that the perception that they don't comes from stories like that of the legendary fellow in Texas who had his F-40 installed in his living room w/o EVER driving it. (This is discussed in a few other threads.)

It's your car; do what you want with it, but as far as I'm concerned, actually DRIVING is at least 95% of the joy in owning a Ferrari.

Just checked through some old threads - the owner's name is posted elsewhere. Here's another shot.

Only thing is, this spot shows an F1 with the same color and same plates and claims the owner is "a certain fashion designer who shall not be named".

 

No, the owner was never Ralph Lauren, that caption is incorrect. Lauren has taken his F1's to Colorado though.
This car with the CO plates was never actually in Colorado. Those pictures are all from CA, and the car was never close to Malibu either, as the first picture caption stated.

 

To this date, all of Ralph Lauren's cars that i've seen have New York plates (including the Bugatti kept in Colorado). My guess is that this F1 is not his.

 

Like I already said, it's not. It belongs to a friend of mine. It was in CA for the Monterey weekend. The problem with driving it is that everything else, well let's just say the 360 felt like it was
dragging a boat anchor after driving the F1! To be fair though, the 360 is a sweeter handling car.

 

Yeah - I've heard that car is a California car.

As I know firsthand, Ralph Lauren's Veyron has New York plates.

 

It's not a California car either, it is a Costa Rica car. It was only in CA for a week

 

So those Colorado plates?

There's a Mclaren F1 in town? tell me thats a Mclaren F1 with CO license plates!?

Where do these cars exsist? I never see them just driving around in the streets of Colorado springs, I see a ton of ricers but nothing exotic here unless my friends Diablo or Testarossa is being drivin but thats it.

 

Anyone knows who owns the Dauer Lemans 962? I saw it back in 1997 driving up in the mountains somewhere and it was greenish color.

Maybe pasing through town from Utah?. All I know is hes still at large.

Also there's a sliver Diablo here in town as well as Blue Diablo 6.0 VT both are still at large.

And a yellow Saleen S7 drivin around the grounds of Fort carson which is again still at large.
