Difficult to say for certain, although I’d also be very interested to know.

Last time I heard of reliable production numbers, it was regarding the Modena. Ferrari hasn’t been releasing production numbers, so it’s anyone’s guess. Don’t know why they are delayed and unreliable putting forward production numbers of modern cars...

For instance, I came across FF production sitting at 2.291 units. Why is this number out there, but virtually no other data regarding other contemporary models? 458 and/or 488? California and/or F12? We can only play a guessing game. I wish Ferrari issued production numbers in a more timely fashion, instead of making us wait 20 or so odd years.

    Kind regards,

    Nuno.

There are 643 488 spiders registered in the UK so if you can find the data on UK proportion of world wide production you can multiply up from there, as a yard stick there are 565 458 spiders registered in the UK but as its a past model a number will have been crashed etc. Good luck with finding the data, if you uncover anything please do post [emoji106]

    Pete’s suggestion is spot on.

I’m expecting fairly close production numbers between the 458 and the 488. Ferrari increased volume during the 488 reign, but the 458 was in production a bit longer. In my humble opinion, it’ll balance out.

My personal guess: between 10.000-15.000 units across all variants.

EDIT- I seem to remember reading a couple of years ago that Ferrari planned to make about 1.500 units of the 458 per year across all variants (Italia, Spider, Speciale, Speciale Aperta). Can it be confirmed? It would be a good benchmark from which one could extrapolate guesses at to total 488 production.

    Kind regards,

    Nuno.

UK normally average about 10% of total production.
