The black one looks like a flathead Ford crab cap.
It is a Ford part. I don’t think as early as pre-53. Good call.
The nice thing is that you can get one anywhere.
But on the old Bosch-look one, nothing really ever goes wrong. It’s electronic and not mechanical.
Pre 49 Ford flat head front distributor.
Interesting. I had a 221ci ‘36 flathead motor and it looked different.
As posted in Silver Subscribed, I bought a new one:
I can’t imagine that there are many buyers for a car like this.
I think that Carriage House missed its opportunity.
Agreed. I think whomever is the seller ought to consider getting it titled. Would make it so much more marketable. I would love to buy one of thes, but no way am I going to through the initial titling process in MO.
Does anyone know what happened to this car?
I’m only curious. I already ordered my 35B.
But if it ever sold, I’d love to hear for how much.
My friend just bought their Swaters blue 456 today.
Guess what? The Pur Sang is still there, although not on their website.
That is a shame.
Because there’s no top, it’s taking up shop space.

Hmmm, wonder if there is any more flexibility on price or title?
It doesn’t matter to me now.
I don’t need another one!
I was think more along the line of those of us on the fence about owning one. I think I would really like to get one, but MO is a really pain to get something like this titled.
If you’re really, really serious I can assist in titling.
Thank you so much for the offer. I may just give them a call and see what's up.
Let me know, Steve.
