My car has carbon roof panels not gorilla glass. Too hot sitting or driving, and if you need roof windows on a track you’re doing it wrong.
Visibility is amazing with split posts in back, low deck height.

I went with the glass roof to have a dark smooth look against the grey body
The vision as I told others cannot be explained unless you drive one
Just wonderful I have a nov build date

I agree, it seemed hot with the glass.

True. But what about an extra loud sound system and gimbal mounted cup holders?

Back to the 720S, it's really astounding what McLaren has accomplished in a relatively few years in the retail game.

They have evolved remarkably in a very short period.

In the 720, they have created a vehicle that is both a fantastic grand tourer and a track beast. It can be configured to have more of a GT or track personality, without sacrificing performance or comfort in either trim:

    • Lux model with leather interior from Bentley supplier, glass door tops, B&W audio, electric sports seats and steering column, 360 parking cameras, homelink, suspension lifter
    • Perf model with alcantara interior, bucket seats, track cameras and telemetry, solid door tops, sports exhaust

Heat-rejecting window film will be needed for those who opt for the glass door tops in hot, sunny climates. I applied it to the windshield and pano roof on my Merc S63 Coupe daily driver, with 20% tint on the other windows, and it eliminated the heat problem.

Its probably not the glass door tops so much as the rear glass section which is 4 times (+?) the size. Same with the 570GT, that car gets really hot inside and doesn't have any roof glass. I'd add the UV rejecting film over the back area as well.

$1000 for 4 hours. Thats actually not bad if you are truly checking out the car- take a nice proper test drive for a grand. Id have no problem paying that.

Dealer dropped the demo off for a couple days. Prob put 400mi on it. Neighbor wants one now. He’s 75 and retired. Free>1k but still cheap. No way would anyone not need one after driving one.

I've driven my local dealers demo 3 times just for fun
They get it on this car and everyone that drives it that can afford it buys it!

Its good they stayed away from Electric power steering. I'd like to drive one. The 12c was such a let down.

Ringing endorsements. I am more desirous of the 720S than any Ferrari at the moment.
