My F12 is in a storage unit and the battery is dead. Like completely dead. The only outlets are on a 60 min timer and they make you stay by your unit when using. I spent a few hours waiting but not even close to starting. I bought a high voltage charger but it only has the claps not a plug in. How do I access the negative and positive terminals? I can’t find this in the manual or anywhere. Thanks so much!

What Al said ... I've done it on my California T. Do not clamp anything onto the negative terminal on the battery, clamp positive to the positive and attach the negative elsewhere on the car.

I failed to properly close the passenger door on my 488 and the battery was completely dead next day. Wouldn’t accept a trickle or even a good charger set on start mode.

Finally had to jump it from another vehicle. Not recommended.

The battery is on the passenger side of the engine compartment, closest to the firewall. Take that plastic panel off - a few twist screws - and the battery terminals are exposed. Hope that helps.

I've had to jump my F12 from another vehicle before. As above, positive to positive and negative to another exposed metal part of the car. The F12 requires a huge chunk of power even to turn over, so I needed to rev the other vehicle such that it's spitting out enough amps when I turned the key on the F12. I've had no ill effects but do this at your own risk.

Ok got her going. I had to pull my Honda Pilot within a few inches of the back of the F12 and the extension cords just fit. I then let it charge for a bit and it showed signs of life but likes Rabies above said it needed more power. I had my three year old with me and I show him how to rev up the Honda so he floored it while I went to start the F12. Probably not a good idea but I was desperate. It fired right up and man did it sound good. I said Kian you did it and he had the biggest smile on his face.
