So I asked a friend/customer at the range if he would drive his F-car in on a Tuesday and we could go to the local car show at the Lowes parking lot........here we are at the range, it was dark by the time we were at the show. Image Unavailable, Please Login
I can't help it - its like my brand new (to me 3+ year old) car... Should have posted these as well together with the previous one when I revived this old thread. I think the wheels are one of the - if not the - most favorite aesthetic of the car for me because it gives it a more muscular look! Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
Really enjoy viewing all the nice cars on this post. IMHO, the 400/412 series have aged very well indeed. Just a great looking car from all angles.
Here's a picture of 42185 with cars of members of Rocking Chair Motors at this event near Pennsburg PA last Saturday. The host has an incredible collection of excavating tractors and trucks, along with 50's vintage Indy cars and automobilia, all on display in outbuildings and on the field. All are invited and he furnishes food and drink, all at no cost. There is a field for special cars, where we were, worth a trip on its own. It's held every year, and well worth a visit from anyone in the area. Image Unavailable, Please Login

Noice,I'm hoping someone(perhaps The F**kin' Doc)can put a pic or 2 of my S**tbox up here.....just so I know it's still alive.!
Yeah, well, just had no power for 53 effing hours, and a river flowing down my driveway courtesy of the mouth breathers of Gold Coast Council that left mud everywhere, so had other things on my mind.
I didn't really expect it to have been in the last 72 hours. Anyway, how come you don't have a geny? Moretti does....he has to charge his torch up somehow.
Oooh, Patrick, you remind me of my visit with my immediate past wife to Cairns twenty years ago, in midst of a period of torrential rain that filled the roads with rivers of mud and confined us to quarters - our small bungalow - with nothing to do except --- so we obliged. Until dinner time when we slogged through ankle-deep mud to the hotel/motel's central bldg for drinks and a meal. It was interesting. Fortunately it abated in time for us to take the catamaran to the great barrier reef where we learned scuba-diving on the reef.
The gen set is enough to power the water pump and one fridge. Survived the worst of the rain and then the wind, only for power lines to go down Fri morning Happier times? We were busy diverting water and mud away, so it didn't reach the pool or house (like last time). And we had three kids to attend to.
