We're trying to put a drive together for this Saturday for the Audi club and I know we had some great routes during the Lamborghini Club Fun Runs... I just for the life of me can't remember what they are. If anyone has some good suggestions, please let me know. Of course you guys are always welcome. Its going to be a drive with mature drivers, not a bunch of kids :) Thanks.

Start on east side of Westheimer and drive west towards highway 6 and go south on highway 6 to First Colony and roll up to Baker Street in the new shopping center.

Alot of car clubs always roll down Westheimer on Saturdays especially bikes. I saw a Scion club just a while back ago. Any route down Westheimer is sure to turn some heads.

    keep us updated.

Actually we were hoping for something a little lower profile with some twisties out on the backroads :) Less traffic, more fun :) Thanks though and I'll keep you posted.

Jeremey Lawrence did it for a wildflower drive last spring....I have the map at home ....bbl

Woodlands VT has some good routes around Lake Conroe then east across I45 to coldspring out in the National Forest....check his website.....

I'll post the west ride better, later.

You missed an Art Car party, bro........too bad!

Here's the map I used during the 2003 Fun Run w/ WoodlandsVT. There are really some great back roads north of Houston.

    Texas!
Luigi's map is a good one, but don't try and run it on Saturday. Between the pedal pushers, bad azz Harley guys going 40 mph, and Bubbas pulling boats who knows where, you might as well be on Westhemier.

Very early Sunday can work, but remember that the Bubbas all have cell phones. Whenever they see dem damn furrin cars, they'll call up Deputy Jim-Bob.

290 out to 362North towards Navesota (you have to turn EAST on 1488 for a short run then back North on 362 - you'll fly by like I did) to Navesota, then back to Hwy 6 South and back to Houston is a nice run.

Whew! Here it is.........had to do Transportation Day...They love that lil' car.. (3 - 6 year olds).....

    290W to 577, 577 to 105, take 50 North to Independence.

Left on 390 to Hwy. 36 Turn south, left.

290 East again to 1371...this is the good part! South on 1371 to 1456.

    1456 to Belleville, 36 South to 2429.

2429 to Cat Spring, good restaurant there, called......ummmmm.......

Note 529 intersects 1456, a good way back home to Houston.

Thanks so much for the suggestions. Do you know how long the route was for the wildflower run? We want to try to accomodate some of our Austin members too and that runs closer to them than the map that ends up in Pappas (Although that is a very nice route).

Thanks guys, and again you guys are more than welcome to join us if the weather stays good.

PM me your FAX, I've got the map right here...........meeting in Brenham would be perfect then!

I'll get the name of the restuarant in Cat Spring. Very upscale, a chef from a big city running it.....top notch food......

Hey how are you guys, this is my first post. I came here to let you guys know about a drive I am setting up for Feb. 19. Its an s2000 and nsx drive and everyone is welcome. We had a good variety of cars at the last drive and I want even more cars to come to this drive. Here is the route we will be taking:

Start at McDonalds at I-10 and Mason Rd.
    0.0 Head West on I-10

21.6 Exit #723 stop at station on right to regroup, head north on FM 1458

    31.9 TL onto FM 359

    38.8 TL onto FM 529

    53.4 TL onto SR 159

53.8 TR onto FM 1456 tjos wo;; ne at a stop sign, you will go right & at the next block TL, then at the next block TR. Now you should be on FM 1456

60.8 TL onto FM 1371 there are some hard turns on this road

68.5 TL stay on FM 1371 DO NOT get on HWY 290

    69.6 TR onto FM 1155

70 On the right and left side are some gas stations for a break

    THIS IS ABOUT HALF WAY

At this point you can head back to Houston on HWY 290 or continue the route.

Cross the HWY and continue North on FM 1155

    77.7 TR stay on FM1155

    88.2 TR stay on FM1155

    91.2 TR onto HWY 105

98.8 Another place to head back to Houston, by going right on HWY 105

OR go straight on to HWY 90

107.3 TR onto FM 1774 watch out for turn can be missed

122.5 TL onto HWY 105 you may need to pull over and let people regroup

    128.1 TL onto FM 1486

142.2 TR onto FM 149 really nice road, but lots of people drive it on the weekends
WATCH OUT FOR POLICE HERE, AS THEY ARE SURE TO BE AROUND

160.5 On the left there are some nice places to eat.
On the corner there are some gas stations
Going straight on FM 149 will get you to HWY 249, if you TL onto HWY 249
it will take you back Houston.

Feel free to try it out, I have not been on this route yet but I heard it was a nice route. A man that goes by the name of coop on s2ki.com came up with this route. Please join us on the 19th, I will post up a new thread now.
