Sorry to disappoint everyone, my bad? You guy's and gal's have a good time on saturday as I dont want to 'expose' anyone to my virus.

I may not be there on Saturday. My mom informed me that my cousins wife passed away today and her viewing is Saturday in Austin. If my parents are not leaving until a little later I'll be stopping by for a cup of coffee and say hi before I continue to Austin.

I also may not be able to make it...I got the car lowered a couple of days ago and it may be too low...Kind of scarred to drive it out there...haha...I'm going to bring it back in next week to raise the front probably 1/2" an inch or so....I posted pics of the car in the "showroom" part of the forum

I saw a red 360 spyder turning on to W. Little York today off queenstone (I think). It was wierd to see that car in the area. Anyway I told him about the event and he said he was going to stop by. We will see if he does or not. His tag said "stock market" abreviated I believe.

 

So where are all the Lotus owner's wanting to join us?

 

How's it going guys, Someone over on the Lotus club posted that you guys were having a cars and coffee. I cant speak for everyone on there but It sounds fun and I will come down from NW Houston.
so count me in. Never been on these forums so look forward to meeting some of you guys.

Ill be there taking pictures, and since aaranzabal isn't gona be able to make it, i guess they are gona have to be twice as good. and twice as many. I dont have a video camera tho....but i just got the dino software on my itouch, and tis awesome!! It does 0-60, 1/4 mile, 1/8 mile, and more. It also does Gs and HP...just in case anyone wants to try it out...

Gregg, I can't promise, I have a 4am conference call Thursday night (or is that Friday morning) and may be using Saturday morning for recovering aka snoozing lol If I do make it out, I'll bring Enzo and the GS since the three of us can't fit in the 550. Well, I guess I could strap Enzo onto the luggage rack but he may object.. Andy will try to come anyway, he enjoyed the last meet.

 

As the noob on the block, was perusing the forum and it seems as if you have to have at least 3 FC members "vouch" that they saw you AND your car in order to be in the owner's forum. While I think that is extreme, am interested in being in contact with other Fcar owners to discuss, troubleshoot and generally learn more.

Can I count on at least three from the Saturday coffee list who will let me send their FC user names to the moderator of the owner's forum and acknowledge that they did see see and my car in the flesh?

Don't know how long we will be able to stay on Saturday morning. Have decided to Tivo F1 qualifying in favor of trying to get an out-of-state tagged car and emission and inspection before we drive up to Starbies. So we may run late and I may have a frown on my face if the 328 doesn't pass. But the coffee and new acquaintances are what we are looking forward to.

See you by 9:00ish unless things really go south, in which case I will contact MobileJay for an update!

You bet!

Don't worry if it doesn't pass. That car is easy to "de-tune" in order to pass. I did that every year with my old 308QV. Lean it out for inspection, fatten her up afterwards. It is best to have a gas analyzer for the tuning as you do not want to go too far in either direction. Any shop can do it in about 15 minutes.
