Think and read through all the rather dated threads for Modena Hotel choices, at least twice. Is PHI Hotel Canalgrande still the preferred location (near the train station) and place to stay? The Best Western is a bit far from the center of town, especially the train station. I stayed at Canalgrande before COVID-19 but wasn't too impressed with their "superior" rooms, and breakfast. I also posted in travel thread.
