Hello Fchatters. I'm experiencing a strange situation. When the car is not running and the engine is stopped -parked at the garage, as example-, the horn works perfectly all the times. When I'm driving the horn doesn't work, or only works temporally -I hear clearly the relay working all the time I press the horn, but no sound-. I've already lubricated the horn pump. The alternator works perfect and there isn't any other electrical fault. Any ideas? Many thanks for your help.
Horn-wise, there is no electrical correlation between engine running and not. Must be ground issue which is altered with the engine vibrating. With engine on and no horn, it wouldn't hurt to tap on the horn relay and compressor.
A little bit too late, I know, but I have to say thanks to Paul, as usual -a big guy; he wants to help everybody all the time-. On the inside I've found some faulty parts on the air pump, so I've bought another Fiamm pump -original, a bargain bought at eBay (thanks BigTex)- and problem solved.
