Where does he use the leather cleaner if the F40LM has no leather in it?
That's a good question, maybe in his TR, or maybe he's just talking and you shouldn't believe everything you hear on TV.
That has got to be the best looking car I've ever seen. It's absolutely gorgeous. Good job shining that .
ROOOOOOLAND you big movie star! I just saw the commercial. I had to tape the race, and I just sat down to watch it. I was fast forwarding through the commercials, then blamo! I see you in a commercial. So I'm yelling "Roland, Roland, Roooland, Rooooolaaand", as I was rewinding the spot to watch it. My wife and kids were wondering what I was yelling about. LOL! Hey the spot looked great, as did the F40, oh and you didn't look bad either. Hahahaa. It sure was nice to see a fellow F-Chatter on TV, and during the F1 race at that.
Way to go Roland! Looking good. We saw your commercial broadcast on Speed TV about four times this morning during our F1 Race viewing party here in Seattle. Gary
Nice commerical! I am gonna go buy some Mother's! Congratulations Roland. Thanks to DVR (Dish Network version of TIVO)...i was able to replay for my wife and kids.
Hey Roland, Gary & I were out at the track today, so we were not able to watch the race earlier, but Bob so graciously taped it for us & we just sat down to watch it & we saw your commercial!! Now that you're a big star, are you still going to hang out with us "little people" at rampage? All joking aside, the commercial was great!!! See you soon!!
Thanks to all of you for the kind words..Amazing that they were able to make me "look" good. I'm in San Diego now but will in Vegas later today to pick up a Murcie to drive to Palm Springs, you know, my new "hollywood"star life style hahahaha!! Don't worry De, to you, I'll still talk to any time and hope to see(and Gary) you while in Vegas. Yes, that TV deal was a great opportunity to work for an over 20 year old personal sponsor !!They made my "old" LM look like new, I should use that stuff for myself hahaha!! See you all in Vegas in a few weeks and get the LM back on the road where she belongs. Sincerely Roland F40LM in San Diego
Roland: Congrats. Very good to see my friend talking at every comercial of the F1 race. BUT..........................A Very misleading commercial!!!!! Taken individually each thing you say is true, but put together you give the wrong impression. 1. You say you raced for 40 years---- True 2. They show you in a racing suit and helmet ---- True 3. You say you have driven the car at 200mph a couple of times----True 4. They show your car on the racetrack---true The impression is you drove 200mph on the track. But Roland, the two times you drove 200MPH was NOT on a racetrack!!!!!! I got a BIG laugh at this!!!!!
What cracked me up was he was talking about doing 200mph said, "Usually there is no one in front of me" Not even a Diablo GTR? See you in a few weeks Roland! Image Unavailable, Please Login
Well, he did say "usually." It's not like he had time to say "I was on the I-10 in New Orleans with a police escort doing 200mph with an Enzo and a Diablo GTR..."
I did like this one too, but I am sure Johnny would disagree. The leather comment was funny too, but we all know that you have some leather to spread it on at the ranch. Way to go Roland, I liked the commercial and it is a privlage to tell my friends that I know you and rode in your car. Not everybody cares about their car's like you do, and I can vouch for you using all the Mother's products. I can also vouch for that Mother's one step spray cleaning up my drool from your fenders!!! You bring the mother's I'll clean the wheels!!
Wait a minute.....I thought Johnny did all the wax-on, wax-off? Or was it Roland having to do JOHNNY's car, waiting for him to "ARRIVE"! Har! Lookin' good Roland! Jim
i think it would have been cool to have Mr Miyagi there trying to teach Roland a lesson in Zen and the art of Ferrari Buffing, and have him end up kicking someone's ass!
Now THAT is funny!!!!!!! I almost lost my mouth full of coffee reading that. The visual image is something that will take the better part of the day to get over! I will be calling and talking to Jeff at Mothers today and plant THAT idea. Dave
ROLAND! I was so glad that we got to talk to morning of the F1 race. It's always nice to catch up. And I kept an eye out for my "hollywood" friend. The commercial was great. Jonie even liked it! She told me to tell you Congratulations. I'm glad to hear the trip in the 365gt went well. That's one of my favorites with those beautiful lines. Not my favorite color, though. Drop me a line when you get back to the ranch. take care good buddy, Kenneth
Hi John, well, I just try to keep our speed run under control..under close course by a pro etc... I sure wish that we could have a track in the US where 200 could be reach ??? In Europe, this was faisable, but here with the inside roundy track!!!! Thanks for the opportunity for reaching these speed.. See you soon Roland F40LM BTW, if no leather in the LM, I have plenty in the house or my wife's mini van haha!!
Roland, here in Europe, you can also reach 200 mph on some german's highway...we don't need a track to reach this speed, we just need your car
Now that I have the routine, I hope that Hollywood will call me for a martial art movie...or else very funny Roland F40LM
