i wldnt sell my red/tan 94 for 350K
Wow - I thought it looked familiar Biggest mistake i have made was selling this car For the record, I purchased this car in October of 2011 for $73,887. I put $26k into it (major, some transmission work, new AC, etc) I sold it in June of 2012 for $100,000 - I thought I was a smart owning a Ferrari for free Whoever buys this car can be assured its previous three owners took good care of it going back to 2011
Major at an independent or at Ferrari ? 26k not uncommon but usually 8k is the basics, then if you going do alternator, fuse box some cosmetics you are at 12k but 26k knowing your diff was good is steep! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
very cool that two (2) previous owners of this 512TR chimed in with anecdotal insight and pride.... glws
The $26k was over the course of the year, the major was done by Ferrari of Ft Lauderdale and was probably $11k-12k..I had a bunch of other things that added up (sticky buttons, new speakers/head radio unit, new AC, fixed some minor dash issues, transmission, etc) When Jcor360 (the post earlier on this thread) bought the car from me back in 2012 he called Ferrari of Ft Lauderdale where I had all the work done - He said they told him I did everything to the car that was needed.
