What does the yellow letters say? I get a lot of pirelli tires from a guy that works at the factory/distribution center in Nashville. Ive bought 2 rears from him before in 17" or 18".

I can see if they still have them, but I think they are a thing of the past..

The lettering said "P-Zero" in yellow. Haven't seen them in a while, but what do I know? :)

They were available as an replacement tire in the late 90's. I saw them on 355's and f40's.

Both my 456M and 355 had the yellow ones as OEM tires. These are no longer available in the US from what the Pirelli people told me. I replaced the 355 tires with the P-zero's that are all black with no letters. I'm still a big fan of the Pirelli tires even though a lot of people complain about them getting flat spots if they sit for a while. The grip once they are warm makes it worth the warm up period.

Has anyone else found new yellow ones. I would be hesitant to buy NOS tires since I replace them based on time anyway. The last thing I would want are old tires that never sold.

    Mark,

That's very good advice on the age of the tires. I always use the newest and latest technologies that are available, for everyday and track uses.

If this is a restoration for a concours event, where originality is wanted, keep a second set for the carshows, and another for everyday road use.

    Ciao...Paolo

I too would be interested in the Pierelli with yellow writing....currently what I have on my 360 Spider. I will check tomorrow on the model or any other markings which might help determine the model number.

When I need new tires I want to retain the same look....
