It's makeover time and I think I want a different color than the wrap I already have. Looking for ideas from you guys. I want something unique. I already have my eye set on a color, but I'm going to refrain from posting until I hear some suggestions. My car is pretty modified and new wheels are coming this week, so the color needs to match the aggressiveness.

    Ideas?

    :)

I wrapped my 458 with Inozatek gloss blood red. I elected to have all the sills, etc., done so you can't tell it is a wrap without scrutinizing the car at length. Here is what it looks like:

That looks great! I think I'm going to stay away from red though. I just found out the color I wanted from Inozatek is out of stock though, so now on to unknown plan B.

Very dark metallic purple almost black would look sinister!

Thank God you're getting rid of the boring gray :p And I agree with NO RED..... and I also fully agree with the DARK PURPLE METALLIC idea!!!.... and lastly, I actually think Tarocco Orange (McLaren 650S color) would look very nice on your modded 488. :)

Please no purple dude. Without seeing the wheels, I don’t really know but maybe something similar to the Oyster Metallic from the front page.

I was leaning towards a lavender color. Yes lavender but they are out of stock. Probably for the best. lol

Going through colors now with my installer. Trying to lock down a matte blue.

What is the original color of your car? Maybe just unwrap it and enjoy the original for awhile then wrap again? Like getting 2 new cars!

I definitely agree with removing wrap and perfecting the paint-- nothing beats perfect paint.... wraps always look terrible once you get within 3 feet.... BUT if you insist on wrapping, go with something shiny and not matte.... ok, I'll shut up now- my opinions are worthless.

    1. Remove wrap
    2. Proper and complete paint correction
    3. PPF entire car
    4. Ceramic coating on top
    5. Stand back and look...and say.... F*CK, it's still silver, damnit!

OH WAIT!!--- can't believe I didn't tell you right away.... there is a colored PPF now which will look just like paint! Won't have that orange peel texture of a vinyl wrap.. it's more expensive but if you find a good installer, this stuff is amazing- protects like PPF and looks like paint.... check it out. At first, they just had gloss black but it is in all colors etc now. Look into that for sure.
