I've been wanting to update the look of my 88 Mondial with some new wheels. I really like the look of the speedlines but was told they are no longer available. The 355 wheels look great as well but seem a bit expensive. I dont want to be moochy on this but price is an issue. I would appreciate any input.
Photos will help as will specifics on size, spacers, etc...
    Thanks,
    Copterjon

There is a member in our area with a set of 17" Compomotives on a blue 328 that look AMAZING. In fact, I think his screen-name is blue328gts - perhaps you could do a search for some pics. Price, though, I can't help you on, as I have no idea.

If you go to their site (www.compomotive.com), I believe the wheels he as are the TS 3-piece Modular wheels...there are example pics of them on various cars...

Keep looking on Ebay for the 355 wheels. Im sure a good deal will come up. Plus at resale time i think most would prefer those or you could sell them more easily and recoup all your money.

    Rhett,
I really like those wheels, very 355ish. Were the very expensive? and can you get them in 18"

    CJ,
I think you will might be happier ot just as happy with 17s. While the Speedline Mistral is no longer available for Ferrari, GaRedCars does make the 2400SM, very similar if not a bit more F40ish. They state it is available for all applications.
Although I have 17 x 7.5 and 8.5, I think ideally the best 'all around street wheel/tire combo' for a Mondial might be 17 x 8f and 17x9 back, 40mm offset all around with 215/50 or 225/50 front and 245/45 or 255/45 rear.
I'd also agree the Compomotives would also be very good.

    Jon,

These wheels were not available in 18's the price was about $1250.00 for the set.

You may want to track down a set of 360 modena fronts for all four corners, I believe they fit. I had a set of 360 modena wheels on my car but the rears were too big, so I ended selling them.
