This was one of my fathers Ferraris back in the 1960s. (Apologies if I’ve posted this before, I’m older than the car) I have no info on the car since many of our family records were lost in a flooded basement . I do remember driving it though. I’ve always thought it was on of the best looking cars he had owned over the years. View attachment 3163899
There are pictures of 3923 in Stan Nowak's Book Spyder California on pages 93 with New York license plate and on pages 176 and 177. He mentions that the car has been very protected and part of a very important American Ferrari Collection.
3923 GT was last shown January 2020 at Cavallino in Palm Beach. Marcel Massini Image Unavailable, Please Login
I’m pretty sure this is the car my mother taught me how to drive a stick shift in . My dad didn’t have the patience to deal with me. She had me doing it in short order after a few stalls , bucks, and typical newbie mistakes. God bless her . We never considered this would be such a collectible car back then
When was your photo taken? What was the name of your father? From whom did he buy the car? This car was originally darkred metallic. Feel free to PM me if you prefer. Marcel Massini
1. In front of our house . I don’t know specifically when it was taken . 2. James Cear 3. Chinetti motors , Greenwich Ct. He bought and sold all his Ferraris with Luigi .
Was that in New Jersey (the house)? Or in Pennsylvania? I do not show your father's name in the history of 3923 GT. That's why I am asking. Must have been between 1965 and 1968. Marel Massini
