I would like to protect my hearing and listen to the race broadcast during the race at COTA. I can take my Bose and Bluetooth to my phone with F1 TV, but phone connectivity/streaming will be spotty with that many phones in one location. Recommendations?

I would prefer to have a Racing Radio and listen to the teams like at NASCAR, but have read that is not possible at F1 with the teams scrambling their signals. Have you found that to be true?

F1 really isn't very loud anymore. It's very muffled. I was at Zandvoort earlier in the year so very close to the track, in front of the pit so the sound actually is amplified.

The only actually loud cars are the Porsche Supercup.

I'm sure once your phone is connected to you Bose it should be fine no? Even with many phones around, if you've already connected to it before...

You were right. Not loud anymore. Porsche Supercup was defiantly louder than F1. They did race some vintage F1 cars, and they sounded great.

Porsche Supercup are louder? That's sad. I haven't been to a race since 2012, but even those V8 cars were wayyyy louder than the support series cars.

yeah they are. Very noticably so.

When F3 is at a race they're louder than the Porsche's.

The V8 F2 cars are really loud as well.

When I took my twin brothers to the Spanish GP in 2016 (they weren't into F1 at all back then), the first cars they saw on track were the F2 cars. Shortly after it was the F1 cars' turn and after about 10 minutes they said ''when are the cool cars coming back?" (F2 was still V8 back then).
