Have to sell my 348...any tips?

I am still getting phone calls on my spider and I sold it weeks ago, unfortunately or fortunately I live in Canada so we don't take as big of a loss. If you need to sell quick place price reasonable, if it is as good a car as you say it is should wont last long. But if you start to high you wont get much action then you will have to reduce your price which sometimes makes buyers think there is a problem with your car.

...the cars are much higher here....try to find a broker who is dealing with exports to Europe. Much easier to get the 50 k that way.

Unless you're a dealer offering financing and warranty, expect the range to be about $10k less than the NADA figures. Most of these cars are in fantastic condition with low mileage. I'm sure I'm gonna get flamed for saying this, but I think the vast majority of actual transactions on 348ts are in the $30-40k range, regardless of the prices the dreamers are asking. Asking $50k will only get you strokes.

 

The major being done now should help, IMO.

 

I think doing the major will help the sale, the 348 is for many a first Ferrari owner car and many first Ferrari buyers are a little afraid to purchase one that needs a major. I am also getting ready to sale mine and my car is going for the major in the middle of April. Good luck with your sale ! I will need luck as well when my time comes soon.

I might be wrong but my guess is that an actual SALE price won't be any more than $43k. 348s are looked at like a leper right now. The 308s are rising FAST. 328s are rising. 355s are dropping like rocks and you rarely see someone who realizes that they aren't worth the $70k that they bought them for 5 years ago. 360s are dropping like crazy but most owners seem to get it. Same with 430s.

348s are a $25-45k car right now depending on mileage, major date, color.

 

buyers want the best example for F*#@ all money.

$35K - $40K

Anything above $40K would be a miracle.

 

I just traded my 348 in to a dealer, but I spent a great deal of time researching the market prior to that. $35-$40 is realistic I am afraid. If you are asking for anything more it will likely just sit and you will just continue to receive the lowball offers (frustrating as hell). The good news is that it is spring, and should bring a few extra bucks now - but clearly it is a buyers market out there. Best of luck!

If it's red it could possibly bring 40k.

If off red about 38 would be tops.

More realistic: 37-38 for red, 34-35 for off red.

These assume no big fixes needed.
