Has anyone leased a Ferrari? What do they look for? How to provide proof of income? Do we have to provide W2 or tax returns?

I doubt leasing a Ferrari would be any different than leasing any other marque.

Pay particular attention to Lease Turn-In provisions.

Some lessors may require equipment replacement ($$$) that makes the vehicle as good or better than OEM.

You must be new to fchat. Everyone always pays cash. And if u can’t do that, u likely can’t afford it

Actually I am paying cash for the 812 GTS as I will keep it for a long time. I thought I can extract some time value from my money by leasing an F8 as I won't keep it for long anyway.

It was meant as a joke :), forgive me for not making that clear. Putnam, premier and Ferrari financial seem to be the go to for exotic leases.

Ferrari financial does open ended leases only
Ie you pay the difference of what the car is actually worth vs what they predicted at lease signing. More miles=less worth at lease end= dollars u pay at end

According to Fchat, it has never happened.

Only Lambos are leased. Weekly payment.

Tony's wrong... not only must you pay cash, your entire automobile collection can never exceed 5% of your net worth.

Amazon (CA only I think), Ferrari Financial, Putnam.

For top tier at Amazon they need income docs. Ferrari didn't ask for much but I'm sure it varies.

Can be big differences in open-ended vs. closed-ended leases.

Open ended leases are cheaper I think per month?

generally yes, because you as lessee are assuming the residual risk. Think of it as basically borrowing a set amount of money and not really as a lease.

There are obvious tax reasons why leasing makes a lot of sense, depending on situation and state. For others, maybe not so much.

Open ended leases are cheaper until the end. Ferraris do not hold value like they once did and the added depreciation hits you for the residual at the end- depending on the car and mileage you accrue it can cost you $30-60K at lease end
