    Hello fellow 328 owners. I just recently purchased an 86' 328 GTS. The car is in pretty decent shape and has 35K miles on it. The side view mirrors have a plastic strip insert about 3" long (on the front) that provides access to the hex nut for adjusting the mirror. The back part of the mirror mount has a smaller insert, about 1" in length and about 1" high (looking a bit like a horseshoe). My car is missing these smaller insert caps.

    Additionally, the metal cover over the battery in the front storage area of the car is held on via two "thumb-screw" type of nuts, that secure onto fixed bolts. I'm in need of one of these thumb-screw nuts.

    Would anyone have any ideas as to find these parts?

    Ricambi has the parts for the mirror. I would think the thumb screws can be found at a hardware store.

    Pretty sure Ricambi America has 'em. Look under "Unobtanium Supply"
