Due to the low quality of the original image, I think I should also provide a couple of images that more clearly show the shape of those distinctive rear fenders: Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
Here are some better pictures of the car taken at the 1953 Geneva Auto show... Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
Now it is easy... Singer SM 1500 designed by Michelotti and built by Ghia-Aigle. F1tommy, it is your turn!
I think the El Wayne photos are from both Geneva and Paris. The other photos are just Geneva. Here is an ugly one for you...All you have to do is go back to the late 1940's or early 1950's to find hundreds of one off bodies and tiny auto makers. The European coachbuilders would rebody a go cart back then and call it a car if someone gave it to them and paid (very little) . Greedy Enzo Ferrari also paid them nothing and then resold special body Ferrari's to rich US/European buyers with a massive added profit then. Image Unavailable, Please Login
My original photo was from New York, 1953, where the car was shown on tha stand of Bill Vaughan's Vaughan Motors. This little guy is the Mochet 750 Sport by Antem (shown at Paris, 1953). By the way, notice the front plate: Charles Mochet 750.
Not that I have an idea but I first did a search through Worblaufen archives, to no avail... My guess would be a Swiss coachbuilder.
Please provide a hint. Didn't have time for thorough research lately, but as I don't have a clue anyway can't tell that I'd find anything...
