First off, I’m not that great (successful) in doing Ferrari Chat searches. So please don’t unload for not looking back. I’ve tried and not found anything. But I’m still learning.

What have people used to best maintain there targa tops and GTS rear spoilers? I’ve used a high quality leather cleaner and leather conditioner. That works well for the short term but doesn’t last long. And its expensive. I haven’t tried any of the quality vinyl products. Cleaners and restorers. I’m a little concerned about the high gloss result of many of those. The car is not out in the direct sun that much, but still I worry.

    Recommendations?

My paint specialist says apply nothing to the painted fiberglass targa top "just water" as when washing your car's paint.
(Of course there will be differences of opinion.)
Beware "water spots" as they can ruin the painted finish:confused:

Use 303, best product on the market for vinyl cleaning and conditioning.

Don't use a leather cleaner on the targa roof, that will never work, it ain't leather it's vinyl (just has an artificial grain).
303 will restore the original colour and leave it with a natural matt finish.
    Plus will last for ages.

Yes, first off it’s not vinyl, it’s fiberglass and the finish is most likely some form of gelcoat. One of the important care steps is to use the cover when you store it behind the seats so they don’t rub on it and leave scuff or uneven polish marks.

I will give it a try, because mine's a bit sad. BTW, I'm looking for another one, if anybody (hopefully in Oz) has a spare.
