The latest FORZA magazine has a review of the F12 in grigio titanio metallizzato (titanium grey metallic). Some of the photos look slightly bluish but the photo from the rear looks very silver which I like. Any comments on this color? I'm imagining a future F12 for me possibly in silver rather than rosso corsa. Would the titanium grey metallic be more difficult to maintain?

To me it looks like titanium which I guess it is supposed to, more gray than silver. As another option have you ever seen a Ferrari done in grigio medio, a solid (nonmetallic) gray? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rAhv5OBgIUE

I love the color. I think it shows off the lines of both the F12 and 458 beautifully. You can also do a lot with the interior with that color, black, tan, or charcoal.

I don't care for this color on Ferraris. To my mind its for a sedan.

The F12 is a flexible bird for colors. You can take it in a sporty direction with bright colors -- red, blues etc -- like a 458 (not yellow I don't think). Or you can take it in a more formal GT direction with dark metallics -- blacks, grays, dark reds. Or a high tech look -- silvers, the lighter grays. It all depends on what kind of look you want.

Never seen one in person, but for me that color is a hard sell. It reminds me of a WW2 naval vessel - nothing wrong with that, but not the first thing that comes to mind when thinking "Ferrari". Maybe if done in matte it could be compelling?

Assuming you're going to have Todd work his magic, I can't see it will be any more difficult to maintain than any other colour. I personally love the F12 in Forza. The interior is also stunning.

My 458 Spider is Grigio Titanio. It is very easy to maintain, I get it detailed once a month and it looks pristine. After having a Nero Daytona California, I definitely wanted a lower maintenance color. I previously had a Meteor Grey 997 C2S and that color was also very easy to maintain. Since I daily drive the F-car, I prefer lower maintenance colors. The Titanio sparkles in the sun and looks stealth in the shade. It is more of a "high tech" look IMO.

I had the roof and door sills wrapped in gloss black and it completes the look.

I guess others like the color as well as the dealership used my F-car for the exotics exhibit at the annual auto show.

I suggest Canna di Fucile with a beige interior.
    Or Blu Pozzi with Cuoio.

I'm a fan of Grigio titanio on all F cars especially the bigger cars f12 and ff, As said the interior choice is quite versatile with this exterior colour.

I do like them in darker colours but the black is as difficult to keep clean as white, and with this colour ( Grigio ), can have a depth to the colour when up close ( as well you know from your FF) and even when dirty it's not as obvious as black or white car.

However my personal choice would be Vinaccia with a grey or cuoio interior. Absolutely love that colour, but I'm sure others would disagree.

I like grigio titanio. It should be easy to maintain, accommodates a wide range of interior colors, and accentuates the car's curves. Ferrari often displays the F12 in the matte version of the color (which is far more difficult to maintain and is justifiably controversial), but is effective in enhancing the contours.

Having owned a Spider in GT, I would say a great choice for an F12 and will show off the detail beautifully. When and if there is an F12 Syder or M, if I upgrade it will be either GT or G Ferro.

Your Spider was my inspiration. I kept a snapshot of your F-car with the top down in the sun on my iPhone for the 6 months from my deposit to delivery and showed it to anyone who asked what my spec was. I even showed it to the Ferrari sales manager when I was placing my order. Only problem was the steering wheel was on the wrong side:)

Nice to know it had an impact, and for those needing reminding of what a great colour GT is....

I am just worried I am always going for grey cars, even looking to the next. I am also about to help my nephew spec a Cali T this weekend and yes, GT and G Ferro is in our sights

That's Sheila' older sister! Hehe. One Nero Daytona California and one Alpine White BMW later and my cars are now Titanium and light blue metallic on BMW. Seriously wash once a month.
