Grigio Ingrid is a very weird color for me. It is a sort of champagne gold color. Really not anything I would ever expect on a mid engine Ferrari. (Maybe a GT car I could understand.)

My question to the public, is do you feel Grigio Ingrid is a really cool and rare color that deserves attention, or is it a color that belongs on your Grandma's Cadillac? For me I am undecided, I found what appears to be a nice 360 spider in this color... but I can't decide for myself if this color is awesome, or ugly on the 360!

Here is what Grigio Ingrid is for those who are unfamiliar with the color. This is not the car I found, but simply a google image showing the color, in a similar spec to the one I found.

I had a 911 turbo in polar silver. It's a silver with light bluish undertones.

I convinced myself that I liked the color, but was never really sold on it. I ended up selling the car, because of the color.

My advice is if you don't love it, pass on it.

My 456MGT was Grigio Ingrid which suited the car very well, not so much for a 360.

The car I found has a "quale" colored upper dash and steering wheel. The exterior color itself I am not in love with, but the interior and exterior combo together fit well in my opinion.

Maybe I am on the wrong train of thought, but a serious concern of mine, is how others view it.

Here is the interior of the car I am considering. I think the whole package of colors fit well...

The exterior I like but that interior just doesn't do it for me.

+1 Needs to be a darker interior, maybe even a blue.

Regardless, Grigio Ingrid is better suited for the V12 GTs in my opinion.

I like the color -- sort of like the gunmetal on a Aston Martin DB4.

If resale (and thus broad appeal) is a concern... keep looking.

It depends on the car. I think it is not something I appreciate on a smaller body like the 360. But it would look really nice on a 612.

I love Grigio with a black interior. Its a more subtle color.. just get a gold iPhone to match it. I do agree that it "fits" the GT's a little bit better...

Though that interior.. I'd pass on that or dye it. Crema and 1970's MG brown.. blah!

The car is an 01, with ~22K miles. Asking price is fair.. but resale is another concern of mine. If I have to sell it for any reason, It will take the right buyer, or an extremely aggressive price to move the car. I am hoping I can use this same thing in negotiating a great price for the car for myself.

Would love to hear more opinions on the color! I wonder how many 360's came through in this color, I imagine only a handful at best. I have only found this one spider for sale, and two other cars in google images so far, a coupe in the UK, and a spider here in USA.

I have to agree. I'm not a fan of interior or exterior but especially not in combo with each other.

When I was shopping for my 360 I came across a Grigio Ingrid spider. I was looking for a yellow or blue Modena but something about this color kept me coming back to look at it. Out in the sunlight the color really looked spectacular. I agree it is a color better suited for a GT as it's more elegant than sporty.

Just found a pic of it.

I have a grigio ingrid modena with black interior. I love it and get compliments all the time. My neighbor's comment (who is a car guy) is my favorite, "my favorite thing about your ferrari is that it's not red." Someone also told me that Alonzo has a grigio ingrid 458, but not sure that's true. Actual ran into a guy in another grigio ingrid 360 at a local gas station last year. Was a 1 in a million random meeting.

It's one of those colors I like simply because it's very different.

To me it's like the old BMW color Bronzitbeige Metalic, I've owned 3 in that color because they were always cheaper than the more common colors (black, silver, white), and when it's clean it shines and really stands out when parked next to others.

Not sure that a car like a Ferrari really needs an "off" color to attract attention though :D

Be careful with lighter (even medium) colored dashboards. They can be annoying when the sunlight reflects off them onto the inside of the windshield.

Me either, I think Grigio is better suited with black or maybe a dark blue. Just my opinion.

    tim, here is a thought.
firstly, is the car at a slight discount because of the color?
if so, then you can benefit from a cheap entry fee.
secondly, you could easily wrap this car in a chocolate brown metallic, which would look stunning with that interior. and the upside would be that you would be keeping the original paint in good order underneath.

so as long as the mechanicals etc are good, this is something i would consider.

Ingrid to me is very subtle and better used on a larger GT.

How long ago if you don't mind me asking. This is where the car is. I am curious how long they have been sitting on it.
