I am wondering if this a special order color or is it a standard color. On the web site it's not listed as a historical color, but I'm not sure if it's a special order color. Thanks

I asked my dealer about it last year when discussing a Cali T. He told me it was in the same range as Grigio Titanio and Silverstone.

yes, I was told it is a standard color, not a great color for the 458, and I would take a big re-sale hit. I know if I like it I should get it, but re-sale is important, because I am going to get the 458 replacement, and I will trade this 458 in so unless it just absolutely blows me away, I doubt I consider it. I think right now I'm down to Red, Black, Grigio Titanio, Silverstone or Argento Nurburing. Not really narrowing it down a lot but, I will know for sure in a few days.

My 360 was that color. They sat on it for awhile but did sell it. If you are not going to have it long get resale red. Rosa Corsa.

You could get something like Rosso Fiorano. I don't think that would be hard to sell, and you would have something different than Rosso Corsa. It's a beautiful colour. Imvho, it looks much better on a 458 than RC, but that's purely subjective;)
Remember that there are a lot of Rosso Corsa cars out there, so while it might be a popular colour, there's a lot more competition and you might have to option it up quite a bit to get a car that sells easily and stick out from the rest. There are a lot of well optioned Rosso Corsa cars to choose from.
I'm not expert, it's just my take on it.

Good take, IMO, as Fiorano is an expensive option. What you save in carbon or other extras, you spend on non-standard colour. Well, that's if you were going to spend on extras ;)

Anyway I'm nowhere near ordering a 458 but have been thinking about what colour I would choose since it was introduced. Grigio Alloy is still up there, never yet dismissed. Actually, it was a very popular colour on the 360, 550, 612 but no doubt sold slower for newer models. However you can see recent examples, I find it superb and personally would favor this colour over red, black, etc. when buying used.

If you still decide not to choose Alloy, at least try Titanio or Silverstone which are quite popular, please don't help give birth to another red one... :D

Are you sure that's Rosso Fiorano? I think RF is a bit darker. That looks like it might be Rosso Maranello, which is a triple layer, where RF is not.

Exactly, cars behind show examples of most greys so no doubt this is Grigio Alloy. Stunning.

Beautiful indeed. Ferrari has wonderful gray colors to offer. I also love Silverstone, Ferro, and Titanio. And Medio among the non metallics.

I think that particular car has IDed as 100% RF. RM was the introduction colour of the FF and not already available when that pic was originally send over the internet. I also think that RM looks different.

Grigio Alloy is one of my favorites. It would be very hard to choose between that and Azurro California on a 458...

Azzurro California is much more baby blue than Grigio alloy.

And it is a special order which costs more too. I'm not sure it's worth the extra charge. The color is a little dated IMO

    That Fiorano is truly stunning.

Was that variant available on 430s by chance? I have yet to come by one.

Rossa Fiorano is really a great color. I have it on my 2014 Spider and love it. In direct sunlight, the depth of the color really comes out....
