Considering they didn't really want to make one for other special clients like Eric Clapton, I don't know if they would want to bring it out at Geneva for all previous rejects to see. Then again, we are talking about different management....
I'm not following Greg anywhere, so thanks for sharing. Great pictures! The winter time and LaFerrari - spectacular!
I'm sure he has his reasons. Maybe it's not finished or Ferrari may want to do some special release as it's definitely a special car. If it is what we think it is then we are all in for a treat.
Screenshotted these from and Instagram story of two people visiting the factory. Appears to be the mysterious car. One thing I noticed was the slightly wider rear compared to a 458. That's it - I can't mentally relate to such things as having your DD as a LaF and playing in the snow with it. A matte 458 with a 12 in it for the track? Good for Greg, must be a ton of fun - would be very cool to design something like that with the factory. Best, and congrats.
So tell us since it's so simple - I have my thoughts but easier that you tell since you are clear on what it is.....
A reconverted LaF mule, which kept the V12 but ditched the hybrid system, wrapped in a 458-ish body kit ? A one-of, track-only car ?
Unless I've missed something, I'm not sure why everyone assumes the hybrid system has been removed? If this was the LaFerrari powertrain mule that it appears it could be then all those KERS bits would have been present. >8^) ER
Fxxk with a 458 body would most likely be the best car in the world. Wonder if it has a race set up or a road going interior.
No. The FXXK mule initially looked like a LaFerrari. But you are on the right track, you just need to rewind a little. A clue to whether or not it was or is hybrid...how many development mules were there at the various stages?
Hi guys! wanna add a screenshot I made on another instagram story.. A bit of back in there! Keep on going! I'm feeling we are close to find a solution for this joyful enigma! Image Unavailable, Please Login
Who else remembers hearing rumours of an NA motor for the 488 "Speciale" a while ago.... This has me excited to say the least!
That exhaust must be one hell of a job, surprised it doesn't utilize the speciale rear end or just straight out pipes similar to the speciale through the side mesh
A quick google search reveals the difference in the rear track width between the 458 and 488 is 1.6 inches, which looks about the same as the extended guards of the 458 mule on page 7 ...... Could this be Ferrari's answer to the Mclaren p14 for Geneva? What a response if it is.
