Not making a moral judgement here as to whether it's good or bad to show off, but let me assuree you that you're wrong on this point. 99% of the population doesn't know that you can lease a Ferrari, and even those that do think it's $10,000 / month.

Heck 99% of people that I encounter on the street think the 360 costs $250,000 or more.

Wow clubs have become insane, I remember when $25 cover was a huge nut(late 70s). As someone who has pissed away more money on booze and other thought altering chemicals then I care to think about - 9 years sober, now when I go out with friends I don't pay for their drinks and they know it. But, if there are other charges pertaining to the club(ie minimum pp) then it is my choice to either ante up and go in or say I'm out. Sounds like the group has a diverse income level and if you want to all hang together keep that in mind when choosing a place, if you really want to be with these folks.

As to freeloaders, there are always those who will take advantage of nice people and I've been stuck with tabs in the past and it is a crappy feeling. Real friends watch eachothers backs, not stab them.

You can lease anything. Everyone knows that. And plus $95k buys a high mileage 360. That's about 3 watches those dumb stockbrokers wear these days.

u could have just said lease a 360, a 550, a 575, a enzo, all 4 of them for $2000 a month, just drop half mil up front and do a 15 yr term.

You are right. Traders and Hedge Fund Harrys. This is the demise of NY night light. The only people who can afford NYC are Hedge fund guys, bankers, and real estate guys. That's why most of these bars, restaurants, clubs--stink.

At least the Euros have some fun about them. And those guys don't just travel with other guys. They mix it up as appropriate.
