Personally, they look better on a black/grey car than on a blue Mondial like mine.
I normally don't like the black/dark wheel look on our cars, but these wheels with the bright trim ring look great with the color of your car, nice choice! Alden
Thanks. They really look good (thanks Stefan!!). Cannot wait untill they are mounted, ready to eat those miles . Today, while the sliding mechanism is drying from their paintjob, I continued to clean and sort parts. Odd thing about the sliding mechanism: driver side has less balls as the passenger side (16 versus 48), so ordered 50 new ones. Best Jurgen

LOL thanks PAP. Now remember were I was when I started all this, I was even afraid to turn a bolt loose Now I have moved to the interiour I need to adress my seats, sagging roofliner and isolate the floor. For floorisolation I'll opt for heat and sound isolator, something like this: https://www.heatshieldings.com/nl/thermo-tec-hittewerende-mat-geluiddempend-vilt-enk.html?id=11952556&quantity=1 Any thoughts? Best Jurgen
Do you really need that kind of floor insulation? In most of the Mondials ,there is a black thin rubber sheet under the mats, not more than 0,5mm...
Do you still have the steel flex hose between the fuel accumulator and the fuel pump? I have to have it made new, hopefully by 'AB Flex' who should be able to reproduce it. I have a hose from the donor car, but there the fuel pump was located under the furl tank and the hose was a bit longer and had another head. So, not useable for the version where you have the accumulator next to the pump.
My mats were directly on the floorpan. Nothing in between. And as most of the heat in the cabin comes from the radiant heat of the two pipes who run from front to back I was thinking of blocking most of that heat. Also, my car is airco-less. Best Jurgen
What do you think? a big difference no? Tomorrow I'm going treat them with carpet clean x Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
Did the mechanism of the passenger seat yesterday and saw 2 of the wider rollers were missing. Is there a source for these? Best Jurgen
Super Stefan, I would be needing 2 of these. As I was working on the parts, I think I inspired one of the oldest twins to work on his motorbike, under the supervision of one of the youngest twins Best Jurgen Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login

Just kidding, compressed the spring with spring clamps. the retainer 'clip' is actually 2 half clips that go into the groove as you can see in the left picture. best Jurgen Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login

Next project will be to clean and repair the roof handles, or at least on of them. Best Jurgen Image Unavailable, Please Login
next is a question: what on earth are these? I've been finding several of these all over the car, under the carpets. Best Jurgen Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
This what the car's interiour looks like at the moment. And a big friend to keep her company in the lonely hangar ;-). Best Jurgen Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
Hello Jurgen, the screws are from the rotor caps. They are used to screw the HT-leads into the rotor caps.
