Got the A/C recharged today

Had it all checked, and, surprisingly, there were no leaks in the system! As I'm still using R-12, I wanted to be sure it wasn't going to leak out. System was evacuated, dye was added, pressures were checked, and vent temp was measured at 56 degrees f.
Local Ferrari shop was running an AC special, so all of that came to just a bit over $200, with 2 1/2 lbs of Freon.

Still cheaper than the R134a retrofit.

 

As long as it's night time, it works great! Daytime, when it's in the low 100s, like it's been here recently, is still a bit warm.
I think if the face vents were a bit closer to the driver, all would be fine.
Mine are all on the dash, which sits right where it's the hottest.
