I like Ken’s idea of the Inconel Kline X pipe .... the X pipe will give you that F1 Ferrari pitch, and I believe valve control with this system vs the S line. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
This would be interesting... would love to hear this although from what I’ve heard the 200 cel cats will make the sound a tad “dirty” Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
My tubi titanium does not sound like that recording FYI - sounds like a bad recording device - the dude is also shifting at weird times. It is also not quieter than stock at high RPM. Sounds much louder to me which may be incorrect, but it certainly is not quieter. It is very loud at low RPM and may "drone" too much for some. If your car is not buttoned up tight as well, the resonance will make you hear all sorts of stuff. I've tracked down a ton of rattles because of it over time. One of the added benefits is you get to hear all the backfiring where as the stock exhaust muffles most of that. Of course, some may not like that either. It's also super light which is nice. Mine has not cracked either. Where do they crack? I did briefly set the rubber bushings on fire at the track though. They made me a new bracket which had the bushings shielded, but the lack of compliance introduced a larger resonance, so I went back to the original bushing design since the car doesn't really see the track much anymore. I have RichardCH's old Kline Inconel valved/x-pipe exhaust - never installed if anyone is interested. Saw some discussion of that. I would make a good deal. Just send me a PM.
What about Larini headers? https://www.larinisystems.com/collection/ferrari/f430-challenge/larini-gt2-exhaust-manifolds-inco
One more thing to note. A valved x-pipe muffler is actually quieter than the stock muffler with everything else being equal. I have Kline Inconel 100 cell cats brand new in box if anyone is interested. It is the lightest and best sounding cat you can get. It will throw CELs so you’ll have to do a few things to trick it.
Very cool. Well you've probably seen that I'm a wrap fan (F12 due back next Thursday!), and since you have a 1 of 1 car you might as well go all the way with a totally custom look... Satin blue chrome: Image Unavailable, Please Login Satin black chrome: Image Unavailable, Please Login Satin black:

4-2-1 offers better mid range whereas 4-1 offers more top end. I would like to see how the 4-1 compares against stock, however. I'd be surprised if Fabio's 4-1 aren't an improvement across the range over stock, low mid and top. For what it's worth, Ferrari moved to 4-1 for the 458...they wouldn't do that if it was that much worse
I know it's an impressively low sample size, but NGS did fabspeeds (4-1) on a few cars (1 360 and 2 f430s that i'm tracking on) with a tune and picked up power and torque almost everywhere; peak gains were in the 40s hp-wise up high, with around 50ish in the middle of the powerband. MFR claims 23hp and 48lbs with just the headers (granted, MFR claims can frequently be on the optimistic/"all conditions perfect" side, but it usually provides a good ballpark for most folks).
ArmedF- did the hp gains come from headers and a tune? Or just headers? pretty impressive if the stock tune can adapt to a 10% inc in hp
Sorry I should have been more specific on that, the shop that did the before/after dyno work did a tune on each car. Apologies for not clarifying more first time around.
the car has been Mased and on its way to EAG for some updated 6 speed pieces and final manettino programming with our very own @360trev.
445 hp without the tune. 471 with the mase tune. Stock exhaust for now but the tune is ready for headers!
Great price. Great material T.316 SS instead of 304 SS. Inconel shields built in. What’s not to like? I’m seriously considering these for the 355. Maybe we can get a package deal if you’re interested in the 430 ones?
