My pleasure. I've been a fan of the Tubi titanium version. Sounds and looks great, lighter than stock, and not so loud that it makes your ears bleed.

He was involved in this Scud conversion. I believe he took it as far as he could.

    Congrats my man!
Would love to hear a comparison of this gearbox compared to the ol’ F40 gearbox.

None of the electronics work properly? Personally, I'd want ABS and for the different modes to work. I'm assuming most of the Scuderia settings are going to be different than a standard F430; however, since the F430 manual maps exist, someone who knows and understands hex code should be able to get everything functioning 100% as long as they can see the two side by side.

Should be no problem. The transmission inside is identical. Just the F1 actuators have been removed and replaced with manual cables and levers.

There was a guy in Australia selling a Tubi muffler here last year. FWIW

I heard Capristo is a great muffler to use with stock cat and headers.

I’m thinking just a Forza controller for myself as much as I would like the free flowing feel of test pipes but California is too hands on for the risk.

edit— can someone verify which of the three Scud exhaust components are interchangeable with F430?

FYI the Tubi non-valved muffler drones like hell, and the titanium version does the same plus cracks as a bonus. I'd go with the Capristo.

Here’s a good vid of Capristo muffler on 16M

Sounds like a louder version of stock to me. Same goes for Tubi and Larini. Stock muffler sounds great with 100 cell or straight pipes.

I drove my car with Capristo headers, stock cats, stock muffler (valved and non valved) for 6k miles. It was satisfactory... until it wasn’t.

Put inconel Kline X pipe muffler + 100 cell cats.... whole other animal. More power, more response. Lighter-weight, better heat retention. More power and noticeable response and midrange. Most importantly, a clean F1 sound.

Here’s a stock setup with straight pipes.

If this is an accurate depiction of the Tubi muffler, I’d go as far as say it is worst than stock. But hey, we all hear things differently :).

It is: with the valves open the stock system is straight-through. Non-valved silencer based systems are quieter at high RPM and louder at low RPM compared with stock. To me they make absolutely no sense on a road car.
