Professor Gordon Murray: “The entire GMA team are thrilled that all 100 T.33’s have found a home so quicky after the global launch, just over a week ago, and we look forward to welcoming our new owners to the now extended GMA family.”

GMA confirms T33 is sold out.

Great to see that I am not the only one... I see quite a few people on here getting the T33.
The wait will seem like forever, but less forever with other owners to chat with...

If anyone is interested to join the whatsapp group for owners, msg me with your phone number and car # and I will add you.

Congrats! Can’t keep up, 6 confirmed here so far?

I definitely get the appeal of the ISG but decided on manual. There’s no “wrong” choice here. I drove my 812 exclusive on manual mode and I was happy with the paddles. The “old school” manual tugs at me slightly more.

Luggage, hopefully “reasonably” priced, is a must. I like the default shorter 6th gear. I will have to think hard about the sportier suspension or not.

For a little perspective on the T33...imagine a Porsche CGT that weighs about 500lbs less.

    In my opinion....
Analogous to the way that the T50 is a modern day McLaren F1, the T33 is a modern day CGT.

Quite a few T50 owners have a CGT so I am sure Gordon has thought about the above.

Luggage is included with the T50 and would assume the same here?

I think T.33 luggage is additional cost but will be kept “reasonable”.

To be clear, please help me on this.

    Project 1 is about T50 and T50s

    Project 2 is about T33

Project 3 is hybrid sports car

The variants of T33 like roadster and track focused are still project 2, is this right?

I'm glad he waited a few weeks to digest and analyze the design of the car. I haven't finished the video yet as it is almost half an hour long but I look forward to seeing the rest of it. Always fun to watch him breakdown these special car's design language.

I have small pee pee, but a big heart

I have the highest regard for Gordon Murray (how could you not), but his anti-aero crusade has gone way too far off the spectrum for me. There's zero doubt that his latest cars are engineering powerhouses, but they are extremely uninspiring in the "looks" category. Having said that, there defiantly is a strong market for those who want much more subtly in their cars, so he is obviously addressing that. But, let's be honest, what excites the vast majority of us in this crazy passion of ours is both design and performance. Ferrari, as an example, didn't become what they are simply because of their cars performance. I would argue, it's their designs that have had a much greater impact on their brand. I would have much preferred his cars sat somewhere along the middle of the spectrum (modern Lamborghini's on the far end). The Lotus Evija, probably my favorite recent supercar design, is a good example. But, Murray isn't addressing that crowd, so more power to him.

Murray is explicitly rejecting over styled hypercars like pagan, lambo, etc. His customers probably have those already anyway. I certainly appreciate what GMA has accomplished through simplicity but prefer what am has done w valkyrie or kegg with gemera

Anti-aero design when the car will produce more DF than most of these new Ferraris?

Superior engineering, designed into small packaging with a sleek body is actually very tough. The last time the world saw an ethos like this was the Carrera GT and people panned the high speed handling, and also said it looked like it was wearing a hat. Well it’s likely now going to be revered forever as one of the greatest supercars despite the subdued styling compared to an Enzo. I think the markets shown what they think the CGT is and has always been. Imagine if the world only had 400 cars to go around not 1300? These things can take some time.

T33 is the size of a Boxster and weighs 750lbs less than a Carrera GT with similar power, has a normal ride height, will sound like a formula 1 V12 from 90s, and needs service of an oil change every 6k miles. I think these Cosworths are supposed to get 25mpg and have canted heads?!?!?! It’s quite an engineering tour deforce in every way. A historic offering in the line of analogue supercars, and so is the T50 which I feel very confident it too will change the way we see sports cars.

Most cars take time for them to really catch peoples eye and this principal will prove out here too.

Once these cars hit the streets and when the dust settles I have a funny feeling……

This guy has the best design analysis, imo. It's worth the 12 minutes to understand the inspiration and execution, if interested, and why it will be an instant classic.

    yep

T.33 is neither designed to please, nor expected to sell to the Instigram or twitter crowd imho. It's not about the bling or publicity, along with the absence of 0-60 or giant HP numers. It's designed for the pure appreciation of the car from a driver experience. Having grown up with almost the first big racing events I can remember being GT40s winning Le Mans and then to be on hand watching Chaparrals running at Laguna Seca . . . it was designed for guys like me. :) A buddy thinks I'm an idiot for preferring white gold over yellow on my wrist watch too. ;)

The design is incredibly well executed. Proportions, lines, scale, etc. You can find fault with the design of even the most beautiful cars ever made. Not much to pick on here and I’m fairly certain this (and the T50) are ones that need to be seen in the flesh to truly appreciate.
