Well done booked our Hotel Hilton in Avasford 5miles away LAST SEPTEMBER
I don't know that I can carry that big a sack of these nearly worthless US Dollars, but if I make it, I'll certainly buy the first round!
Wasin Cali and Vegas at Christmas bought tonsand tons of Crap 2 to 1 cool $2.07 to the pound how cool is that Regards Sean
Well that's a result... Here's hoping for a bit of nice weather (England does occasionally have sunshine) and a cracking trip... enjoy. David.
I would recomend a small B n B in Cocking, just 8 miles from goodwood. Named Moonlight cottage (I thnik) its a great and friendly way too enjoy the weekend.
im going to the revival, everywhere im ringing is fully booked! can't believe how busy these events get......... any recommendations would be great Cheers
have stayed there for the revival before - wouldn't recommend it necessarily - don't waste your money eating there for sure. still - clean (expensive) place to sleep after a very tiring day. i remember it being noisy because of numerous wedding parties. good luck.
I have tended to go to the Revival after many FOS years, seems to me that FOS is a bit more glitzy and a bit less racing but still one of the greatest places to get close upto some real exotica If you want to see cars "in action" a grandstand ticket is worthwhile otherwise due to loads of safety measures you only see "crash hats whizzing along the top of straw bales" from many parts of the hill. Also, if you want a good restaurant on Saturday night, book it now. Seems like anywhere within 15m of Chichester gets bombed out.
Anyone know of these pubs - looking for a decent place to relax after a Saturday at the FOS. Hare and hounds in Stoughton Three Horseshoes in Elsted Earl of March in Lavant TIA Roy
2 months! I'm following up the weekend with a couple of days business at the Farnborough International Airshow. Any F-Chatters going?
If you don't think the Airshow is going to be something impressive, watch this: http://www.farnborough.com/public/Press-Day-2008.aspx
me and jaqueline will be at the festival of speed - would love to meet you again and present you a copy of my book with pics of 0846 and P 4/5. Sicilia 2005 - Palm Beach 2007 - and now may be Goodwood 2008. A nice lineup of meeting points. will you bring your new yellow beauty or 0854??
I've been invited by Cosworth to attend this year. I've haven't been before so am really looking forward to it. Maybe I'll meet some of you guys there
Depends on what you are looking for. Friday is cheaper and there are less (but still an awful lot of) people there, but sometimes the major stars (and star cars) are not there until the Saturday/ Sunday. Not all of the Ferrari F1's were there on the Friday last year.
