Anyone know any good vendors online make good replicas?
I'm asking because there is a 60,000 dollar Rolex I really want but I think I rather spend it on my new Porsche GT3 instead! Anymore questions?
So get a P-car with the Sport-Chrono package and you get to tell time and not be a tool! There, Problem solved!
Next time you go to a foriegn city, check out Hong Kong, they have the finest fake watches in the world. They're so good, that I would give one to all your mothers, they would be thrilled.
justify and pass off replica items for the real thing I also just love the "Who would be crazy to pay that for a watch" statements, so in some twisted way it's much better to buy a replica? Fake is fake and if you let the world know it is that's cool but I'm sure most owners intent is to be as fake as the watch, tuff to trust these people! Buy something nice you can afford, tons of great watches out there under $500. BTW just wait for the day someone calls you out on the replica, not a good day.
Buy a Hommage not a Fake. I know many see this as a thin line, but you should easily find a non Rolex branded watch that looks similar to your $60k Rolex. Besides, a Rolex for $60k is either vintage or bling bling. And fake bling bling is even worse than real. -dsd Image Unavailable, Please Login
"the south beach gays" .....yet you want to by a Fake watch and parade around with it.... if the decision to buy a $60k watch OR a new Pcar....well you cant really afford it then if you making a CHOICE between the two. Buy the Watch or Buy the Car dont try to look like you can buy both....assuming you can even afford the first.
I'm asking because there is a 60,000 dollar Rolex I really want but I think I rather spend it on my new Porsche GT3 instead! Anymore questions? Is the GT3 a replica also?
I kind of feel sorry for Nick85. He's getting it from every single direction haha. But then again, maybe he did ask for it with that question. Sigh.. moving on.
well hes got another thread about a 997s (Not a GT3 which is what hes considering now since he saved all that money on the rolex) VS a AM Vantage for a DD. but I have to agree he could just buy a beetle and slap a GT3 sticker on it and call it a day....hes have his "gt3" and "$60k watch " to roll in with money to spare
Hold on guys... I have a few "nice" watches. I will say, before I bought my first really expensive watch, (I had some Tags and RWs), I bought a few "replica" Rolexs. I wanted to see what I liked best. I bought a Pepsi GMT, a 50th Sub , a yacht master and some others. I decided, based on the replicas, that my first Rolex would be an all black GMT which I bought shortly after once I had the means. I since have had the watch bug and I now have about 30 good watches. Whenever someone complimented one of my replicas, I always mentioned it as such. I think they are a good way to decide what you like, and a poor way to be a poser. After all, anyone who knows watches can spot the best fake from 3 feet.
Wow touchy subject! I already have the 3 watches which are probably worth more than your fat wives daily driven Miata. They include 1 Patek Phillipe, 1 Tag Heuer and 1 Swiss Army (only 400 bucks but better looking than the other two). I really didn't think it was a big deal, makes me wonder about some of the board members though. You guys are so in the know on fashion, is this a south beach thing?
Buy the GT3 and save for the Rolex, it'll be more satisifying when you eventully get it! That's what i've had do to in the past anyway!
Since you are already an aficionado, I'm sure you realize there are probably authentic alternatives that will get you the same look. If you give us a hint on what you want, we may be able to help with some suggestions. There aren't many Rolexes at $60K but point us in the right direction. What Rolex do you want?
