I didn´t like the Becker Cascade in the F430 and Scud much but it looks really nice and works perfect with the ipod. Navi in don´t need but the older Becker are a little bit difficult to use with the ipod. I searched for a Becker Ferrari version and found one in GB. After the paket arrived the first step was a knob conversion, so i change the silver knob from the Ferrari unit with a normal Cascade which i had in my storage and came with black knobs and now i have a full black Becker Cascade Ferrari version which fit perfectly in the 512 TR dash. And i refinished the front corner which showed some silver dents. Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
wow christian ! nice work! wanna do mine ? welcome to the club. they are truly fantastic cars, and i have often said that the 512tr is my favorite car. i think you will love it. i also recommend taking a long trip with your wife in it. it is comfortable, and fast, and when you arrive it is always a stunner. if you come my way, let me know and we can have a drink together.
It says a lot when a Scud owner goes "back in time" The entire TR line is special. Good luck with your new ride
Great jobb, you are doing exactly the things i want to do I´m happy you are ahead of me....i have the same problems with sticky plastic and looong legs. Was it the 25mm steringweel spacer you bought? How much was the interior cleaning and did you send it to the US? More good ideas please
@Ross: Thanks! I will send you a PN when i´m come your way! @Blown Daytona: Thanks! @Tobbe: Yes it is the 25mm spacers, just made a ride and it is really much better!
Same procedure than every time, paint correction and detailing. Ok, we have in the f-chat some really great detail masters and also here in Germany there are some really good professionals but i love to do it by myself, perhaps not that perfect but i know that i done it by myself. And one, if not the only unoriginal detail but that detail i really love! Second owner repainted the hood and fenders because of stoneships and a real master of metalwork work the shield indentation into the fenders. With the original Scuderia shields from a 288 GTO/F40 the car looks a little bit more nicer than without… First i thought it was leaving the factory with the shields because it looks simply perfect. The shields really do pop out on the black car! That's awesome with the work you are putting in to get her in tip top shape. Thanks for sharing all the pics & progress.
Ah.. I love it.. Look how this b*tch is having you run around, all over the place for her.. Your sniffing her panties already as you should be.. Dont they smell good? Sure they do.. Get your hands all over her. Clean her up.. Get her ready for your next one on one.. You know she is waiting for you.. The Scud.. arg.. Like a robot.. The scud.. I dont even look at that car as a woman.. More like a alpha male.. drinking gross protein shakes, grilled chicken with no seasoning, broccoli.. Going to the tanning salon and walking around the beach with no shirt on.. Farting, Burping and god knows what else.. Disgusting.. Now your in the land of freshness and snatch.. The smell of the leather and engine oil when you enter the garage.. Its her must.. She is sending the signal to you that she is in heat.. Bravo.. you brought her home and you got right to getting your hands all over her.. Some new clothes, a hair cut, nails done, feet done, waxing, and a full inspection. My friend.. This car is going to give back to you in so many ways - you have no idea.. Enjoy the journey.. Drive the car.. F*ck worrying about putting the miles on and re-sale.. You my friend are p*ssy whipped by the only b*tch that deserves to have you whipped.. Slide in the seat.. inhale the aromas.. fire the b*tch up and drive with an assertive hand.. Finesse I always say.. but just rough enough - you want her coming back for more.. and...... SHE WILL..!! every time.. Congrats brother.. Congrats.. R
the black paint that shiny, allows everything around it to be reflected and makes it look like one of those invisible cars! wow! very cool christian. i would not mind putting in the effort myself, but i would not trust myself to disassemble and re-assemble all the bits correctly without damaging something. how did you know where all the screws and tabs were for the interior for example?
