    Just thought I'd put this out there - AMP is hosting its 2nd race of the summer series this weekend. I'll be racing in my LO206 kart ( the Ferrari Kart ) ...
    You can race as well - there is a concession karting series as well... you can sign up on the AMP website.. it's a fun day... and also a great workout!

    I think it may be raining - so even more tricky!

    Hey I think its May 6th? not sure. I'll check - I cant make the next race we will be out of town... this weekend was interesting... I finished 7th in the sprint, DNF in final... ended in a crash = upside down and the kart on top of me..... ugg... lucky to have no injury other than a small abrasion, and some sore ribs... rubbing is not racing.

    That’s the reason I don’t cart! That track also seems to make it easy to get upside down. Glad you didn’t break anything! Why don’t carts have roll hoops?

    The rental ones do, assuming its a weight thing ... and how the Karts are built, not sure it would be that effective. luckily this was fairly low speed - 15-20 MPH.
