Thanks. I'm finding a few from the archives of the City of Montreal. Post pics when your 1/12 is done.

I believe that the other fellow in the picture is Jean-Pierre St Jacques. When Gilles won the Jim Russel series with the earned money he bought his first formula Ford= a Magnum built by Jean Pierre who for many years was the official machine shop for the Montreal GP ( Usinage St Jacques in Boucherville)
Jean-Pierre & Lucie were close friends of Gilles & Johanne. They went to their Monaco home & Gilles flew J.P. In his helicopter through the montains to Modena for a personal factory tour then they went for the British GP. I've being told that in order to have a house in Monaco one must be on the who's who list. His house was available to him by non other than prince Rainier, how's that for a realestate agent? Just to show you how much loved and respected he was.
Gilles was a Ford guy, you should see him coming out lf Le Circuit Tremblant with his red Mustang Boss=what a sight. He sent over to Monaco his full size Bronco (O.J. Simpson type)with monster tires. His motor was so powerfull & torkey that it was always twisting its halfshaft so Jean Pierre shortern a 3 ton truck differential & ship it to him, problem solved. His Bronco was to large to reach his house through the narrow streets so he was the only one allowed to park it by the beach (along with Walter Wolf's Suburban&Airstream camper)
Podium, Canadian GP 1978. With (then) Canadian Prime Minister Pierre Trudeau and Montreal mayor (in the back) Jean Drapeau. Image Unavailable, Please Login
I remember most the races he shouldn't have won but did: Spain and Monaco 1981. And no dirty driving either...
Three decades on and the look on the left would still be considered hot and in vogue - the one on the right - not so much
