    Hello,
I have a slight what I think is tensioner bearing noise when my 612 is cold. I would like to remove the accessory belt covers and listen to it with a stethoscope or even just try removing the accessory belts so I can verify its not a timing belt tensioner. My question is what has to be moved out of the way in order to get the belt covers off. Just the two accessory belt covers not the timing belt covers.

I'm thinking either the steering rack and/or the brace across the front of the motor? I dont want to take apart any more than I have to LOL. I have the smaller cover loose but just does not seem to have any contortion to get it out :-(

    Any help would be great!

    Thank you

    John

I have a noise as well that goes away after warming up for 2 - 3 minutes. I'm planning to replace the tensioner bearings and belts regardless over Thanksgiving but I'd be interested to see what is causing your noise.
