Actually I don't find it strange at all. What I thought was very strange (and to some degree repugnant) was the portray of the gay F1 driver in the Will Ferrel movie. I never really thought of F1 drivers as gay: To me they're symbols of alpha males and machos. But since I LOVED the rest of that movie, I was willing to ignore it.
