Here's the garage all finished up (still need some decorations). There is a 4th door to the left outside the photo as well. I am happy with it aside from having been limited in size by the county.

Marcel, it's been a long time I was suspecting you to be little arrogant on this board, now I have the proof.

The fact that you're a reputed Ferrari historian/consultant should not prevent you to be a little more kind.

No need to write the "not" in capital letters as if you were screaming in my ears.

I made this mistake because of M' Guercioni's son Kristoffer instagram account. He is clearly implying the cars belong to his family.

You unequivocally asserted something that was wrong and an expert unequivocally corrected you. He's not arrogant, he's both correct and far more knowledgeable about the subject than either of us. I see absolutely nothing wrong with his post, yet your response to him was borderline rude.

People make mistakes all the time, don't get bent out of shape when someone notices your own. I try to be amiable myself when learning. ;)

    All the best,
    Andrew.

Most reasonable people don't mind being corrected. However there is polite, professional way to do it, and then there is a condescending, arrogant way to do it. No need for the experts here to talk down to people unnecessarily, it is unbecoming if nothing else. No one likes being spoken to like a scolded child. In Marcel's case I've seen in other posts and experienced first hand the tone dcmetro was referring to. Personally I don't much care one way or the other, but there is a pattern to it. In fairness let me also say it may be completely unintentional and/or language related. That's why I never thought much of it. We all know that things typed on a forum don't always come across the way we intend.

    http://www.ferrarichat.com/forum/144561055-post25.html

No one is disputing that the man knows his stuff, but one can know their stuff and relay that knowledge while being polite about it. Now, whether they chose to do so is up to them. Just as I or dcmetro should be fair game to being challenged on our information, Marcel should be fair game to being challenged on his tone.

Well the guy shares a lot of information here on the forum and can be a bit harsh and unwelcoming. Suppose that's the bad we get with the good.....

A lot of the German speaking cultures come across a bit too harsh, upfront and "*********ish" for the kind, beat around the bush English types:)

Absolutely! I've got some pics from the above mentioned party handy that show most of the main areas upstairs. When I get home I can post a few more detailed pics.

Thanks for the kind words guys. Here's a quick pic I downstairs. Not completely finished in there...still need some more cabinet and workbench space, lift, and a few items of shop equipment. I am also going to do the floor, still torn between epoxy, diamond polish, or tile of some kind.
