Dave, the b/w 400 promo photo is great; do you happen to have a similiar type of photo for a 365 gt4? Sorry about your lack of jet ownership. I'm now wishing you both continued improved health AND that a G5 be in your near future (as well as enough $ to pay the fuel bill)...

I'm sorry Gregg I don't have one like that of a 365. Actually I don't have ANY factory or promo shots of the 365.

You're right about the fuel bill. Leasing a G5 is cheap compared to the cost of keeping one in the air. It just like owning a 400. The initiation isn't too steep, but the monthly dues

Dave, too funny. The parallels are manifold. I do have a 365 gt4 original sales brochure, but if memory serves me correctly, the photos pale in comparision to your b/w 400 shot.

The custom body job on the 400i chassis. Any further details as to the builder?

Well I can't be 100% positive but I can tell you that the number of cars built with my color combo can be counted on three or four fingers. My car was sold new in Bologna and the owner took it on a vacation trip around Italy and to the factory.
The timing is right, the colors are right, what are the odds? I'd say pretty darn good.

ps - how are you? Haven't seen you in a while

Look close at this picture. A friend of mine is driving my Dino and you can just barely make it out in the reflection of the paint.

    Dave and Dodici Cilindri,

The following is based on info I found on ***************.com:

Car is s/n #37647. A 400i auto was the donor car for this, although it's fitted with a 400 GT Maunal gearbox. It was designed by Chris Hampson (a freelance industrial designer) and Gary Major, and built by Brian Wingfield (DRL Engineering, Jaguar D-type replicas), and built for Anthony Bamford, it's first owner.

    Here is some additional info:

You are THE man! I knew that you had both, and you even threw in the bonus shot of the duct tape on the driver's seat and the wall to wall carpeting dash cover!

Too bad it doesn't have a Firebird engine; a 'shaker' hood scoop would have looked better...

well, at least somebody is enjoying it while preserving some parts for the rest of us.
That hood scoop is criminal though

Actually, the shot of the interior is to confirm that the car is, indeed, an automatic (a la the obfuscating stamping on Larry Warren's five-speed mentioned in the 400 registry thread).

That wasn't the only spot of duct tape on the driver's seat, and judging by the rest of the interior, I imagine the odometer's been around the clock at least once (maybe twice, because the mileage wasn't that high). But hood scoop or not, the guy's got a Ferrari and he's enjoying it.
