I am moving to a gooseneck trailer with a camper in the front so I can bring the family with me to the track more easily, and am selling my trailer. It is a 2006 24' Featherlite that has been very well cared, and has lived most of it's life garaged. It has some really nice factory options like extruded aluminum flooring, front rock guard, and aluminum fold out ramps. I have wired, insulated (walls and ceiling), and panelled it using 3m VHB tape, so no screws on the interior. The fit and finish is excellent.

It has a 15,000 btu air conditioner with heat strips, Ctech cabinets with a stainless steel top. The sides are carpeted plywood with e-track down the sides. There is an electric winch in front, and recessed halogen lights. Inside are flourescent ac lights, and small dc lights. Additional tie downs are placed so a 911 can be tied down through the wheel spokes, and there are many pitpal accessories. The brakes and wheel bearings were gone through recently. Michelin tires are fresh, and I have 2 spare tires. I work on my cup car at the track, and have set the trailer up for it, so the trailer needs nothing, and is race or DE ready. $18,500 Please pm or email ([email protected]) with any questions.

    Thanks!
    David

Thanks for the complements! I put a lot of work into making it just how I wanted it, so it will be sad to see it go. The new trailer will be a lot better for the family though, and I'm excited about it. I'll probably do the same treatment to the garage area in time.

I have DC to run the winch, tongue jack, and small lights. The halogen lights, inside flourescents, outlets, and AC/heat run off of AC. All the tracks I have been to have electrical plug ins. I've thought about buying a generator, but have never needed it.

You guys could always have it shipped! I don't know what shipping costs would be, but fuel is low right now. I'm in FL, and am buying the new trailer out of KS!

I'm advising/assisting friends in Ft. Lauderdale area to find an enclosed 24' but could use some technical info before mentioning this.
What is the GVWR and the actual tare weight with all included add-ons ?
What is the rating/type of the Michelins ?
Looks like it probably has torsion suspension. Correct ?
Also, where in FL is it located ?

I'll have to get you the GVWR when I'm back home, as well as the actual weight. I believe the actual weight is around 3,500 lbs.

The Michelin tires are LT tires. I believe they are rated at 2,000 lbs each. I've had 6 Carlisle/Goodyear trailer tires blow on me, and will never go back to them. A Michelin engineer unofficially recommended the LT tire to me, and they have been flawless over the 5 years before I replaced them.

Torsion suspension, yes. 4,800 lbs each

    I'm located in Central Florida

    Thanks,
    David

Oh man. This is making me drool. Great job putting that together. My problem is I'd need to buy a bigger tow vehicle. My little FJ Cruiser wouldn't cut it, unless maybe I only had a go-kart in the trailer.

Having owned far more trailers than I ever wished to may I make 2 comments...

    1. The best ones for utility with the least headaches were featherlites. And by a wide margin.

    2. The Michelin tires are amazing.

    GLWS.

    Hi Marquette,

I'm sorry I didn't see your post until now. I have a deposit on the trailer, and the buyer is scheduled to pick it up on Tuesday. If something changes, I will certainly let you know.

Thanks everybody for all the interest in my trailer!

    David
